Total approaching 900; 73 active cases
The number of positive cases of COVID-19 in Adams County continues to get closer to 900.
On Tuesday, the Adams County Health Department said that 10 people tested positive for the virus on Monday. They include three more girls age 10 to 19, and the new cases range in age from 10 to 69. They bring the total number of positive results to 884. Of those cases, 73 are considered active. Six people aged 40 to 99 are hospitalized, but no one is in the Intensive Care Unit. Over 28 thousand people have now tested negative for the virus. The latest data shows that 80 per cent of the County's cases live in either the 62301 or 62305 ZIP Codes, in and around Quincy. The seven-day positivity rate is now at 4 point 3 per cent.
Ten Adams County residents have died of COVID-19.
