Total now at 359

The one-day pause in positive cases of COVID-19 in Adams County appears to be more of a reporting delay.

The Adams County Health Department said Thursday that on Wednesday, 11 more people tested positive for the virus. That brings the county's total to 359. Of that total, 261 who have tested positive this month. The Health Department says that the 11 new cases include a man in his 20s, 3 women in their 30s, 2 women in their 40's, 4 women in their 50s and a woman in her 60s. The County's online dashboard shows that 75 people are actively infected, and that over 16 thousand people have tested negative. Another person is out of the hospital, bringing that total to 9. They range in age from their 30's to 90's, and of the nine, two are in the ICU. The dashboard also shows that over 230 people called the COVID-19 community hotline, with 60 of those calls reporting respiratory distress.

The County's positivity rate over the last 7 days continues to fall, and is now at 3 point 31 per cent.
