31% of residents have already filled out form

The U.S. Census Bureau has released information about who's filled out the questionnaire, and so far, two western Illinois counties have among the highest response rates in the state.

The Census Monday released details about the percentages of each county that have already completed the required questions. So far, 31 per cent of Adams County residents have responded, including 20 per cent over the internet. 32 per cent of Quincy residents have responded. Just over 30 per cent of Hancock County residents have responded, including nearly 13 per cent over the net. 24 per cent of residents in both Brown and McDonough Counties have responded, 22 per cent have in Schuyler County, while almost 20 per cent of Pike County residents have responded. In Northeast Missouri, no county has had over 30 per cent response yet. The closest is Lewis County, with 26 per cent, while both Marion and Pike Counties have had a 23 per cent response rate. The city of Hannibal has also seen a nearly 23 per cent response rate. Ralls County has seen only a 17 per cent response rate.

In Iowa, nearly 25 per cent of Lee County residents have already responded to the Census.
