Adams County authorities make three meth arrests Thursday

Sheriff's Office made arrests at traffic stop, and during raid on a Quincy home

The Adams County Sheriff's Office arrested three people on meth charges in two seperate incidents Thursday. 

In the first incident, a Quincy woman was picked up on a meth delivery charge after a traffic stop. The Sheriff's Office says it arrested 44-year old Regina McGee around 12:45 AM Thursday, after a traffic stop at 10th and Broadway in Quincy. She's been charged with one count of meth delivery under five grams, and will have a preliminary hearing July 27th. McGee's also facing two other counts of meth possession in Adams County, and will be in court early next month on those charges. She was free on bond at the time of her arrest Thursday. McGee's in the Adams County Jail on $50,000 bond.

The second arrest saw a Quincy couple detained after a raid on a home Thursday afternoon in the 600 block of Jackson. The Sheriff's Office says it arrested 63-year old David and 46-year old Genesia Handley around 4:00 PM Thursday, after a search warrant was served at their home on Quincy's southwest side. Both face counts of Meth manufacturing and meth possession, and both were in Adams County Circuit Court Friday for their first appearance. David Handley will have a preliminary hearing next Tuesday, while Genesia Handley will have her preliminary hearing next Friday.

Both are in the Adams County Jail on $10,000 bond.
