Adams County COVID-19 cases continue past 700

9 people test positive Monday; Total now 722

More Adams County residents continue to test positive for the coronavirus.

On Tuesday, the Adams County Health Department said that 9 people tested positive for the virus Monday. They range in age from 20 to 79. The new cases bring the total number of positive results to 722. The Health Department says 100 people are actively infected. 10 people, aged 60 to 89 remain in the hospital. Of those, 2 are in the Intensive Care Unit. The County's medical capacity is holding steady, with 26 per cent of hospital beds available. 34 per cent of critical care beds are available, as are 46 per cent of the County's ventilators. The County's positivity rate over the last 7 days remained at 3.89 per cent. The 14-day rate is still at 5 per cent.

Seven Adams County residents have died of COVID-19.
