Soybean condition was rated 4 percent very poor, 5 percent poor, 25 percent fair, 54 percent good, and 12 percent excellent. Cotton with bolls opening reached 84 percent. Cotton harvest was 6 percent complete, compared to 8 percent for the 5-year average. Cotton condition was rated 2 percent very poor, 9 percent poor, 34 percent fair, 49 percent good, and 6 percent excellent. Rice harvest reached 65 percent. Sorghum harvested was 25 percent complete. Winter wheat planted reached 10 percent, compared to 9 percent for the 5-year average. Winter wheat emerged reached 3 percent. Pasture and range condition was rated 5 percent very poor, 13 percent poor, 43 percent fair, 37 percent good, and 2 percent excellent.
