"Number of items related to burglaries" recovered
Deputies from the Pike County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at the 800 Block of Rogers Street in Barry Tuesday Evening concluding a three week investigation into a string of burglaries to local businesses.
During their search deputies seized a number of items related to the burglaries. 19 year old Harley Abney of Barry was taken into custody for Four Counts of Burglary, Three Counts of Theft, and Five Counts of Criminal Damage to Property. Deputies also seized cannabis and drug paraphernalia from the residence.
Abney was lodged at the Pike County Jail pending a court appearance.
