Lin's Garden Buffet restaurant and Blessing agreed to sale Tuesday
Blessing Health System says it's agreed to buy a property at 12th and Broadway that it's wanted for the past five years.
Blessing said Friday that they and the owner of Lin’s Garden Buffet restaurant at 12th and Broadway reached an agreement Tuesday for Blessing to buy the property. A statement says that while a final decision on the property’s use hasn't been made, the purchase has been a part of Blessing’s strategic plan for over five years. Patrick Gerveler, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Blessing Health System says in the statement that they've identified "key properties in the neighborhood that would be vital to future growth of healthcare services.”
Gerveler said that “When and if those properties become available, we reassess current and future space needs and act accordingly. The property at 12th and Broadway is one of those properties that has been on our strategic plan for several years and recently became available. So we acted after reassessing our space needs.”
