Adams Co Sheriff's Office says Kyle Altgilbers, 24, was electrocuted
Adams County authorities have identified the man found dead near Liberty Sunday afternoon.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office says the man is 24 year old Kyle Altgilbers. In a statement, Sheriff Brian VonderHaar said that Altgilbers, who didn't have permission to be on the property, died of electrocution. VonderHaar says deputies were called to a building in rural Liberty around 4:45 PM, in the vicinity of North 650th Avenue and East 1800th Street, to investigate a report of an open door there. That's when they found Altgilbers's body in one of the buildings on the property. County Coroner Jim Keller declared him dead at the scene.
VonderHaar says that the circumstances surrounding Altgilbers's death are currently under investigation.
