Ralls Co Sheriff's Dept says all students safe, accounted for

A bomb threat called into Mark Twain Junior and Senior High in Center has now caused all classes in the Ralls County R-2 School District to close early.

Ralls County R-II School District says that all classes were canceled due to the threat, which according to the Ralls County Sheriff's Office, was called in this morning. The District also says that all after-school events for Monday were canceled. The Sheriff's Office says that all students have been safely evacuated and accounted for. A parent confirmed with our news-gathering partners at KHQA that they received a text message from the Ralls County R-II School District saying those students were evacuated to the Elementary School gym.

The school says that any students who weren't picked up by parents should be able to be bussed home, and any students not bussed home were taken to the First Baptist Church.
