Christopher Huckstep due in court Friday afternoon

Bond for a Quincy man, accused of fatally shooting another man Wednesday morning on the city's northwest side, has been set at $5 million.

That bond was set Thursday for Christopher Huckstep. He's facing three counts of 1st Degree Murder in the shooting death of 26-year old Emond Morris of Quincy. Prosecutors say that Morris died of a single gun-shot wound around 3:30 AM Wednesday at a home in the 700 block of Cedar. Morris's body was found by officers shortly after they arrived. A report says that they found Huckstep a short time after the shooting in the 1200 block of North 12th Street. They also found a firearm while arresting Huckstep, who will have his first court appearance Friday afternoon.

He's currently in the Adams County Jail.
