Players exposed to someone with COVID-19

Culver-Stockton College says it's had to postpone two up-coming football games, and the team is in quarantine after they were exposed to someone who's tested positive for COVID-19.

The College said Tuesday that Saturday's home game against MidAmerica Nazarene and next Saturday's game at Missouri Valley College have been postponed. A statement says that players on the team are in a 14-day quarantine, and that the decision comes after contact tracing and quarantine procedures were enacted within the Wildcat football team. The statement says that delaying the games will allow the players to "return to the field of play in the safest manner possible by allowing the appropriate time for practice and physical reconditioning."

No makeup dates have been decided. Culver's next possible game is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 15, against Grand View University in Des Moines.
