Charged with Sexual Servitude, possession of Child Porn
A Galesburg man, facing child sex charges after his November arrest in a child prostitution investigation, is still set to go on trial this month.
Earl Campbell was in Adams County Circuit Court for a hearing on charges of Involuntary Sexual Servitude of a Minor and 2 counts of Possession of Child Porn. At the hearing, a prosecution motion to limit evidence was granted. Campbell’s pleaded Not Guilty, and go on trial starting next Tuesday. Prosecutors say that Campbell was arrested on a McDonough County warrant after the Adams County Sheriff's Office conducted a prostitution investigation. A juvenile, listed as missing and endangered, was also found with Campbell. He also faces one count of Aggravated Battery from an early November incident, and will go on trial on that charge in March.
Campbell's in the Adams County Jail on $75,000 bond.
