Weather has delayed progress this month on construction of the Champ Clark Bridge at Louisiana, Missouri.
With that in mind - the Missouri Department of Transportation is canceling the monthly public update that was scheduled for this coming Saturday morning.
The next update is now set for February 23rd at Louisiana's Riverview Park, weather permitting.
MoDOT engineers say the focus for this month was to place deck panels on the bridge, but the weather has made that challenging.
A MoDOT spokesperson says that despite the current weather setbacks - the project is on schedule for a late 2019 opening.
