12 new cases reported Thursday; County total approaches 300
There's been another big increase in the number of Adams County residents testing positive for COVID-19.
The Adams County Health Department announced Thursday on its' COVID-19 online dashboard that twelve new positive cases were confirmed. That brings the County's total to 293. The Health Department says two people were released from the hospital, bringing that number down to 14. Five more people have fully recovered, bringing that number to 96, and another 305 people tested negative for the virus. Calls to the community COVID-19 hotline, and the number of people reporting respiratory problems were down.
The County's positive test result rate over the last seven days has gone back up above 4 per cent, to 4.47 per cent.
