Recently won major contract with OSF Health of Peoria

A Quincy company says it plans to add 30 new jobs this year.

Denman Linen Service announced Tuesday it will add the employees after landing a major client. The company says it will process the linens of 16 facilities across central and northern Illinois for OSF HealthCare, based out of Peoria. Denman Linen, which already employs 87 people, says the positions include plant personnel and truck drivers. In a statement, company President and CEO Richard Kempe says it can meet the demand of the new contract, thanks to a nearly 4 million dollar equipment upgrade, completed last year. The contract means Denman will see a nearly 70 percent increase in the amount of linen it handles each year at its' plant on North 43rd Street in Quincy.
