Doellman wanted after failing to appear in court

Doellman wanted after failing to appear in court

1 week, 2 days ago by Scott Hardy

Was to plead Guilty in connection to son's drowning death last July

A Quincy woman, accused in the drowning death of her 18 month old son last July, is now wanted by authorities after failing to appear in court Wednesday.

Janifer Doellman was to have been in Adams County Court for a plea hearing on charges of child endangerment, in connection with the drowning last summer of her son, Niall Clark, in a pool in the backyard of a home in the 600 block of Jackson. Court records show that Doellman had intended to plead Guilty at the hearing, in a likely deal with prosecutors. Instead, she failed to appear for the hearing, and now has a warrant out for her arrest, with a $30,000 bond. The child was pronounced dead at Blessing Hospital, about an hour after EMS crews were first called.

She had also planned to plead Guilty to a meth possession charge, from a March arrest.
