Final Missouri Weekly Crop Report for 2018

Temperatures last week averaged 41.6 degrees, 0.3 degrees below normal. Precipitation averaged 0.31 inches statewide, 0.57 inches below normal. There were 3.9 days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending November 25, 2018. Topsoil moisture supply was rated 4 percent short, 72 percent adequate, and 24 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated 2 percent very short, 10 percent short, 82 percent adequate, and 6 percent surplus. Soybeans harvested reached 85 percent this week, which is 9 percentage points behind last year. Sorghum harvested progressed to 93 percent this week. Winter wheat planted progressed to 89 percent. Winter wheat emerged progressed to 72 percent. Winter wheat condition was rated at 5 percent poor, 51 percent fair, 38 percent good, and 6 percent excellent.
