Corey Roach charged Monday in alleged motorcycle theft from Detroit, IL

A Hannibal man, already facing charges in Marion County, now faces more charges across the river in Illinois.

The Pike County, Illinois Sheriff's Office Monday announced the arrest of Corey Roach. He's been charged in Pike County with one count of theft over 500 dollars. Roach is accused of stealing a motorcyle September 23rd in Detroit, Illinois. A statement from the Sheriff's Office says that through working with the Illinois State Police and Louisiana, Missouri police, they were able to identify Roach's truck from surveillance video. Pike County detectives were able to interview Roach last Thursday, where he allegedly admitted his part in the Detroit theft. A warrant for his arrest was then issued Friday. Besides Roach, a warrant was also issued for an as-yet unidentified second suspect.

Roach also faces two counts of stealing in Marion County, after his arrest there last Wednesday. He's being held there on $25,000 bond, and will be in court Friday.
