Donald Selmon faces charges after Sunday morning incident

A Hannibal man faces charges after allegedly firing several shots early Sunday morning.

Hannibal police Monday identified the man as 59-year old Donald Selmon, and say they were called around 4:50 A.M. Sunday morning to a home in the 800 block of Hazel Street. When officers arrived, they learned that multiple rounds were fired in the area. Selmon was then arrested on a charge of Unlawful Use of a Weapon. A warrant was later issued in Marion County Circuit Court charging Selmon with one count of Unlawful Use of a Weapon while intoxicated.

Selmon's free on $25,000 bond, and will likely have a hearing Friday morning.
