Jermaine Johnson faces numerous charges in incident
A Hannibal man faces numerous charges after nearly hitting several people with his car at a party over the weekend.
Hannibal police said Monday that the incident happened early Saturday morning during a block party in the 1800 block of Hope Street. They say that 37 year old Jermaine Johnson drove his car into a blocked off area, and nearly hit several people. Police say an officer on the scene was able to stop the car and arrest Johnson, who had a loaded hand gun and a baggie filled with prescription pills. He was arrested on ten different charges, including Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Delivering a Controlled Substance.
He's in the Marion County Jail, awaiting his first court appearance.
