Hannibal man charged with Murder back in Marion County

Corey Cobb made first court appearance Monday

A Hannibal man, charged with murder in an early-June shooting, is back in Marion County and made his first court appearance Monday.

Corey Cobb was in Marion County Associate Court for his initial hearing on one count of 2nd Degree Murder. He's due back in court Friday. Records show Cobb was returned to Marion County last Friday, after being arrested two days earlier in the St. Louis area by U.S. Marshals. Cobb is accused in the June 4th shooting death of 45-year old Billy Williams of Hannibal, who died of his wounds at Hannibal Regional Hospital. The incident happened at a home in the 21 hundred block of Gordon Street.

Cobb's in the Marion County Jail on 1 million dollars' cash-only bond.
