Christopher Walker charged after Saturday incident involving a 3-year old
A Hannibal man's been charged with physically abusing a 3-year old child.
Police identified the man as 23-year old Christopher Walker, and say the incident happened Saturday. A report says that officers were called Saturday afternoon to Hannibal Regional Hospital by the Marion County Children's Division. That's where they found the 3-year old, who had suffered a dislocated and fractured left elbow as well as multiple bruises on both legs, arms, and scalp. The child's in protective custody and is now in a St. Louis hospital for further care. Walker was arrested later that day. He was formally charged Sunday with 3 counts of Abuse or Neglect of a Child.
He's in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 cash-only bond and is likely to be in court Friday.
