Victim found Monday morning near Hannibal bar
Hannibal authorities are investigating a stabbing that happened Monday morning near a Hannibal bar.
Police aren't saying much, other than they were called just after 8:30 AM to the 100 block of Dulaney Avenue, to check the well-being of a man on the ground. That's around the corner from the Broadway Bar and Grill on Broadway. When officers arrived, they discovered the man had been stabbed once in the abdomen. The un-named victim was rushed to a St. Louis hospital by Life Flight.
In a statement, police say that at this time, they don't believe this was a random act, and there is no threat to the general public.
