Revealed to be 65-year old Quincy man; no sign of foul play

Hannibal police have partially identified the body of a man found floating in the Mississippi River Saturday morning.

In a statement Wednesday, police identified the man only as a 65-year old Quincy man, and say that after an autopsy in Columbia "there are no signs to believe foul play was involved." The man's body was found Saturday morning, floating along the riverfront near the Marina. It was recovered by Hannibal firefighters and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Police say their investigation continues.
