Complete Family Healthcare based in Kirksville
Hannibal Regional Healthcare System says it's acquiring a chain of clinics in north Missouri.
System President and CEO Todd Ahrens announced Tuesday that HRH is acquiring Complete Family Medicine, which has five clinics in Moberly, Macon, Kirksville, LaPlata and Lancaster. In announcing the agreement, Ahrens said one reason for the acquisition was quote, "to ensure that healthcare stays local along that Highway 63 corridor." The clinics employ about 100 people, who will remain in place.
Ahrens says talks on the acquisition started last summer, and that the takeover should be complete by sometime this summer.
