Hickman waives prelim, pleads Not Guilty in Subway robbery

7 years, 1 month ago by Scott Hardy

Will go on trial April 10

A Quincy man, suspected in the armed robbery of the Subway restaurant at 936 Broadway earlier this month, has pleaded Not Guilty, and will go on trial in April.

21 year old Isaac Hickman entered that plea Friday in Adams County Circuit Court, after he agreed to waive his preliminary hearing on one count of Aggravated Robbery. Probable cause was found by Judge Scott Larson, and afterward, both sides agreed to have Hickman arraigned, where he then entered his plea. At Hickman’s arrest, made a day after the alleged robbery, police said that they quickly developed him as a suspect, and that they found evidence linking him to the armed robbery.

Hickman's in the Adams County Jail on $100,000 bond, and will go on trial April 10th.
