30 residents have now died since start of pandemic
The Illinois Veteran's Home in Quincy says that a resident has died of COVID-19.
In a letter sent Wednesday to residents and their families, Vet's Home Administrator Troy Culbertson announced that a resident died of the virus. The death happened sometime between Saturday and Wednesday. Culbertson also announced that another employee has tested positive. Two employees are currently testing positive. So far, 357 residents and staff have tested positive for the virus since the start of the pandemic.
