Janitor arrested in Clark County bomb threat

2 weeks, 4 days ago by Scott Hardy

Amanda Miller, 38, of Kahoka picked up Thursday morning

A school janitor has been arrested and charged with making a threat last week that forced Clark County schools to close for the day.

The Clark County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday the arrest of 38 year old Amanda Miller of Kahoka. She was picked up just before 10 AM, and is charged with one count of 1st Degree making a terrorist threat. Clark County Sheriff Shawn Webster says they suspect Miller is responsible for writing a threat on a stall in a middle school bathroom on October 25th, reading “I’m going to kill everyone at this school today”. That threat caused all Clark County Schools to cancel classes for the day.

She's in the Clark County Detention Center, awaiting a bond hearing.
