Justice Department says Russell Wolf pleaded Guilty to one count producing child porn

A Kahoka man will spend the next 16 years in Federal prison after he was sentenced Friday on child-porn charges.

The Justice Department says that 42-year old Russell Eugene Wolf was sentenced Friday in US District Court in St. Louis to 16 and a half years in prison. He had pleaded Guilty in late June to one count of Producing Child Porn. As part of a settlement with prosecutors, a second count of possession of child porn was dropped. Once he's out of prison, Wolf will also have to be under supervised release for the rest of his life. Wolf was indicted on the charges by a Federal Grand Jury last December.

According to a statement from the Justice Department, their investigation showed that Wolf hid a camera in a bathroom to record an underage child while that child showered. The camera was disguised to look like a coat hook. They say the incidents happened between 2012 and March 2016.
