2 years, 6 months ago by Scott Hardy

Toby Chambers, 25, is thought to have committed burglaries in Adams, Brown and Pike Counties.

A Macomb man, suspected of committing burglaries in three West-Central Illinois counties, is due in court this afternoon after his arrest Saturday.

25-year old Toby Chambers will have his first hearing in Adams County Circuit Court. He's been charged in Adams County with three counts of Burglary, two counts of possession of a stolen firearm and counts of possessing a stolen vehicle and possessing a stolen title. Chambers is suspected of committing break-ins in Adams, Brown and Pike counties, and stealing several firearms in Quincy on Friday. In a report, the QPD says that Chambers, and a possible accomplice, could be responsible for even more break-ins. Authorities in Adams, Brown and Pike Counties are asking anyone who may have had items stolen from them recently to come forward. The QPD says their investigation continues.

Chambers is in the Adams County Jail.
