Ralph Griesbaum died Sunday in tractor rollover
Marion County authorities have revealed the identity of the man who died Sunday in a farming accident.
Marion County Coroner Rich Jones told our news-gathering partners at KHQA-TV Monday that 58-year old Ralph Griesbaum died in a tractor crash Sunday near Taylor. Griesbaum was a long-time member of the Marion County Farm Bureau, and was a Board member and former President. Griesbaum was running in August's Republican primary for Marion County Presiding Commissioner.
First responders from Palmyra Fire and Rescue and Marion County Ambulance were sent Sunday night around 6 PM to the roll-over accident, in the 900 block of County Road 315 near Taylor. The initial call said that Griesbaum was pinned underneath the tractor and not breathing.
