Jefferey Stulgate of Garden City, KS faces five counts in Marion County from Tuesday incident

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has released more details about a Kansas man, who was the subject of a man-hunt earlier this week in Marion County.

The Patrol identified the man as 27-year old Jefferey Stulgate of Garden City, Kansas. He's been charged in Marion County with counts of Robbery, two counts of Assault and two counts of Armed Criminal Action. Stulgate was caught just before 8 AM Wednesday near the Doyle Manufacturing plant on Highway 61, east of Palmyra. A statement on Twitter says he was caught with the help of Doyle employees. Stulgate had first fled from Palmyra police Tuesday afternoon, after first hijacking one car on Highway 36 in Ralls County and then shooting at another. The chase by the Highway Patrol led into Palmyra, and then north of town before ending Tuesday night.

Stulgate's in the Marion County Jail, and is due in court Thursday.
