Will go on trial in Adams County December 4

A Quincy man, accused of robbing the McDonald's at 13th and Broadway in late September, has pleaded Not Guilty, and will go on trial in December.

29 year old Joseph Miller entered that plea Tuesday morning to charges of Robbery and Aggravated Robbery at his arraignment in Adams County Circuit Court. Miller's charged after Quincy police identified him as the suspect in the mid-day robbery September 25th at the restaurant, after seeing surveillance video. Miller was picked up by police and Adams County Sheriff's deputies two days later at a home in the 1400 block of North 4th. An alleged accomplice, 30 year old Valerie Thompson, is charged with one count of Robbery. Prosecutors allege Thompson drove a red minivan that witnesses said Miller jumped into after the robbery.

Miller's in the Adams County Jail on $100,000 bond, and will go on trial December 4th. Thompson's free on $15,000 bond, and will be arraigned October 31st.
