Larry Isgrig sentenced Friday
A Paris, Missouri man, who pleaded Guilty to sodomy and child endangerment charges in a deal with prosecutors, has been sent to prison.
Larry Isgrig was sentenced Friday in Monroe County Circuit Court to 16 years in prison. That's after he pleaded Guilty in June to two counts of 2nd degree statutory sodomy and one count of chlid endangerment. In return, a third sodomy count was dropped. Isgrig's plea canceled a two-day trial set to start later in June. He had earlier been found fit to stand trial after a mental fitness exam. Isgrig faced the charges based on incidents that happened in April 2017.
He was arrested after the Monroe County Sheriff's Office got a report of an on-going sexual relationship between Isgrig and a child under 17.
