7 new cases announced Wednesday
More Adams County residents continue to test positive for COVID-19.
On Wednesday, the Adams County Health Department posted on its' COVID-19 online dashboard that seven new positive cases were confirmed. That brings the County's total to 281. The Health Department says another person was admitted to the hospital, bringing that number to 16. In addition, 91 people have now fully recovered from the virus, and over 14,000 people have tested negative. It was another busy day for the community COVID-19 hotline, with 319 calls. In addition, 78 people said they reported respiratory problems. The Health Department says that even with the spike in cases, that over 40 per cent of local hospital and critical beds are available, and that 56 per cent of local ventilators are available.
The County's positive test result rate over the last seven days continues to edge down, now standing at 3.74 per cent.
