County Clerk Chuck Venvertloh says office open this Saturday

Adams County's chief election official says that over 1,200 people have already voted ahead of the November 6th election.

Adams County Clerk Chuck Venvertloh said Wednesday that besides the early voters, his office has received over 600 vote-by-mail requests. Venvertloh says those requests appear to be on the rise this year, due to both parties initiating mailers to possible voters. Early voting is open at the Clerk's office during regular office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday thru Friday. The office will also be open this Saturday, and Saturday November 3rd from 9 AM to Noon for early voting. Venvertloh says in a statement that the Clerk’s office wants to make sure those voters who choose to exercise their right to vote are given many opportunities to do so.
