New charge filed Wednesday; hearing set for August 22nd
A Quincy woman, due to go on trial in September after a shooting in her home, now faces a more serious charge.
Prosecutors filed a new charge of 1st Degree Attempted Murder Wednesday against Amanda Perry. She's already facing charges of aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery and reckless discharge of a firearm. Perry's been charged in connection with the July 5th shooting of her husband, Michael Perry, in a home the two share at 1135 Vermont. He was taken to Blessing Hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the eye.
Amanda Perry's in the Adams County Jail on $250,000 bond, and will be in court on the new charge next Tuesday.
