Miller, Aschoff and Singleton all in Pike County jail after being caught in central Missouri

Three people who got into a gunfight with a Pike County, Missouri homeowner last week after trying to steal his lawn mower have now been charged.

Pike County Sheriff Steven Korte said Monday that Michael Miller faces numerous charges in Pike County, including 1st degree burglary, 1st degree assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a fire arm by a felon. He's being held on $75,000 bond. Both Jessica Aschoff and Ellen Singleton have also been charged with 1st degree burglary. They're both being held on $25,000 bond. All three are awaiting their first court appearance. The three were wanted after the incident last Wednesday morning, where a homeowner caught MIller walking out a shed with a push mower. Both Miller and the homeowner drew handguns and fired. Neither man was hit, but the homeowner's house did have damage from a bullet.

Korte says the firearm believed to have been used by Miller was found by Mexico police, and had been reported stolen from Fulton the previous week.
