Results from first day of expanded testing show 250 new positives
The number of COVID-19 infections in Adams County has jumped dramatically, after the first day of the Rapid Response testing in Quincy.
The Adams County Health Department said Tuesday that 250 new cases were confirmed Monday. That's a new one-day record for positive results, and is due to the Rapid Response test site at 33rd and Broadway in Quincy. Hours for the site are 8:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. Monday - Friday, and 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Saturday and Sunday. The new results bring the County's total number of positives to 3,888. There's now 1,178 active cases in Adams County. 78 people are hospitalized, with 12 in the Intensive Care Unit. Adams County's 7-day positivity rate is at 17.3 per cent.
