Jeremy McClusky accused of trying to induce a student to have sex with him

A Monroe City High School para-professional, charged with trying to induce a student into having sex with him, has had probable cause found against him.

That ruling against 39 year old Jeremy McClusky of Monroe City happened Tuesday after he waived his preliminary hearing in Marion County Associate Court on one count of Felony Attempted Enticement of a Child. McClusky's accused of soliciting a 14 year old female student via text messages, to engage in sexual contact. The alleged texts between McClusky and his student were sent between mid-May and early September. The girl's parents contacted Marion County Sheriff's deputies on Labor Day, after seeing the messages. McClusky has been put on administrative leave by the district, and if convicted, could serve between 5 and 30 years in prison.

McClusky, who's free on $25,000 bond, will be arraigned November 1st.
