Tri-State Medical Group now called Quincy Medical Group, Keokuk Affiliate
A Quincy-based health care provider continues to expand its' services in Lee County.
Quincy Medical Group announced Monday that it has acquired Tri-State Medical Group in Keokuk. In a statement, QMG says that the practice is now known as Quincy Medical Group, Keokuk Affiliate, and that the current medical staff will continue at the facility. The Keokuk affiliate will become an extension of QMG's Keokuk Family Practice Clinic. QMG says it's part of the expansion into Southeast Iowa, that started last October when it and Keokuk Health Systems agreed to affiliate. “Our partnership with Keokuk Area Hospital provides an inclusive approach to healthcare which will benefit patients in the community,” said Carol Brockmiller, QMG CEO. “QMG plans to build upon this partnership to understand the needs of the region and provide patients with the best quality of care.”
QMG says it plans to focus on bringing additional specialties to Southeast Iowa, including urology and gynecology, and continued oncology services.
