Quincy Notre Dame football Coach Bill Connell has been named among the Top 15 coaches nationwide who have made it to the final round of U.S. Cellular’s Most Valuable Coach program.
Coach Connell initially made the Top 50 when his nomination was chosen from among hundreds of narratives submitted nationwide.
Public voting has secured his spot in the Top 15. U.S. Cellular will be working to create a short video detailing Coach Connell’s story and QND is set to receive $1,000.The Video will be released November 11th. Public voting is underway and goes through November 18.
If Connell is ultimately named one of the two winning coaches - he and a guest will receive a trip to Orlando and be recognized live on Camping World Stadium’s field during the nationally-televised Under Armour All-America High School Football Game New Year's Day on ESPN.
