Seen taking money meant for juvenile diabetes research
Quincy Police say they've identified a woman who was seen taking a canister of money meant for charity.
Police posted on their Facebook page Tuesday that they want to talk to a woman, who is described as white, with brown hair, about five feet five inches tall, and heavy set. In photos posted by police, the woman is seen wearing a dark t-shirt and dark pants. Police didn't give a detailed description of the crime, but two photos show that the woman is talking to a clerk at the customer service desk at one of Quincy's Hy-Vee stores. The other photo shows her putting a canister containing money in her purse. The canister was on the counter to raise money for juvenile diabetes research.
Police ask since identified the woman.
