7 years ago by Scott Hardy

Deal covers Ag, Supply Chain Management and Education majors

Two Quincy schools of higher learning have signed an agreement that means easier transfers for some course work.

John Wood Community College and Quincy University announced Wednesday they've signed new transfer agreements in agribusiness, supply chain management and education majors. In a statement, QU says all three transfer program agreements address employment needs expressed by regional businesses and K through 12 institutions. JWCC President Mike Elbe says "It is a win for everyone.” JWCC students majoring in Ag and Supply Chain management will now have their general and major specific courses accepted by QU in similar programs. JWCC education majors will now have more education-specific courses accepted at QU, along with all general credits.

The agreements in all three majors go into effect this fall.
