University says Grad student enrollment up 20%

Quincy University says there's more freshmen on campus this semester.

On Wednesday, QU announced an 11% increase in this year’s freshman class, saying that 349 new freshman and transfer students are on campus. Including part-time
undergraduate and graduate program students, the overall enrollment for the Fall 2018 term was over 11 hundred. In a statement, officials credit the increase to "the University's efforts to bring greater transparency to the true cost of a QU education." QU says its admissions staff will try to increase the University's geographic reach by attracting more students from the Tri-States and what it calls high growth areas across the country. There was also a 20% increase in Graduate students.

Quincy University also says it saw over a $1 million increase in net tuition revenue this fall.
