Will help students graduate on time, and be ready for life after graduation
Quincy University has introduced a new series of programs and changes that it says will help students graduate on time, and be fully prepared afterwards.
QU Tuesday announced Success by Design, which it says is a series of university-wide programs and changes for students. In a statement, the University says it's been introducing similar programs for years, and that starting this fall, it simplified college tuition to include all-inclusive pricing, with tuition covering books, parking and technology. QU says that Success by Design will add even more resources and additional strategies for student success at QU. That includes the requirement that every student create and regularly update an individualized student success plan with their advisors. They add that Success by Design features the care of the whole student, including residence hall programming, health and wellness services, career readiness with the support of QU’s QUEST Center, aid for students in financial distress and campus ministry for students of all faiths.
The university will begin to emphasize Success by Design this month, and says that several new Success by Design programs will take full effect next fall.
