Interviews with semi-finalists set for next week
Quincy University says a search committee will start meeting later this month with potential candidates for the University's President's job.
QU put out a statement Friday, saying its' Presidential Search Committee received nearly 70 applications for the job. nts met the September 5 deadline. That was narrowed down last month, and semi-finalists are set to be interviewed by the Committee next week. Finalists will then be on campus in early November and the Board of Trustees will appoint a new President at a special meeting prior to Christmas. QU says it's used headhunting company RH Perry to help conduct the presidential search over the past few months.
The new President would replace Phil Conover, and be QU's 24th school President.
