Quincy Chamber of Commerce Leader Moving On

6 years, 10 months ago Mike Moyers

Amy Looten taking job with HOMEBANK starting July 1

After 16 great years of leading the Quincy Chamber of Commerce Amy Looten is moving on.  In an email sent on June 15th she states:

"I need to let you know that I am stepping down as executive director of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce. I have accepted a position as senior vice president for marketing and business development at HOMEBANK and will start there July 1.

I have cherished my 16 years at the Chamber, and I have thoroughly enjoyed being your cheerleader. We are so privileged to have wonderful businesses in our area. Thank you for teaching me, inspiring me and supporting the Chamber. Please continue to do so. The Chamber is a wonderful organization.

Alta King, Latonya Brock and Melissa Hess will carry on in my absence, and our board is working on a plan to find my replacement. I know you will band together behind them to help them through this transition.

I am so pleased that I will continue to be a part of this business community. I look forward to seeing you at Chamber events! Thank you for everything!"
