Susan Tresch will enter a plea next month

A Quincy woman who ran a daycare in her home, and is charged with child abuse, will enter a plea next month after she was in court Tuesday.

65-year old Susan Tresch was in Adams County Circuit Court for her first appearance. Records show Tresch will be arraigned July 23rd. She was arrested earlier this month at her home in the 23 hundred block of Cedar. Tresch was indicted in late May on two counts of Aggravated Battery to a Child under 13. One is a Class X count. Police say their investigation into Tresch started in February 2018 after they and DCFS were told that a child under 13 had been injured at Tresch's home.

Tresch is free on $25,000 bond.
